Preparing for Soprano laser hair removal treatment
Two weeks before
Avoid tanning beds and applying self-tanner to the area to be treated.
Apply sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) before any sun exposure and reapply frequently if you will be in the sun for an extended period.
A few days before the treatment
Exfoliate the skin in the area to be treated and moisturize thoroughly.
The day before
Shave the area to be treated closely.
Do not apply antiperspirant on the day of the treatment. Deodorant may be used.
Taking care of your skin after a Soprano Ice Platinum laser treatment. Within 24 hours of treatment.
Within 24 hours of treatment
Avoid baths, spas, or swimming pools for 24 hours after treatment to prevent skin irritation.
For a few days
Avoid exfoliating your skin.
Protect your skin well from the sun with sunscreen.
ALEX WAVELENGTH 755NM: For the widest range of hair types and colours.
The Alexandrite wavelength offers more powerful energy absorption by the melanin chromophore, making it ideal for a wider range of hair types and colors, especially light and fine hair.
With more superficial penetration, the 755 nm wavelength targets the hair follicle bulge and is particularly effective for hairs embedded superficially in areas such as the eyebrows and upper lip.
SPEED 810NM WAVELENGTH: Half the processing time.
The classic laser hair removal wavelength, 810 nm, offers deep penetration of the hair follicle with high average power, a high repetition rate, and a large 2 cm spot size for fast treatment.
810 nm has a moderate level of melanin absorption, making it safe for darker skin tones. Its deep penetration capabilities target the bulge and bulb of the hair follicle, while its moderate tissue penetration makes it ideal for treating arms, legs, cheeks, and beards.
YAG WAVELENGTH 1064NM: Specialized for darker skin tones.
The 1064 nm YAG wavelength is characterized by lower melanin absorption, making it a targeted solution for darker skin tones.
At the same time, 1064 nm offers the deepest penetration into the hair follicle, allowing it to target both the bulb and the papilla, as well as treat deeply embedded hair in areas such as the scalp, underarms, and pubic area.
With higher water absorption generating a higher temperature, the incorporation of 1064 nm increases the overall thermal profile of the laser treatment for more effective hair removal.
